Therapy is a second career for me. I spent nearly 20 years in leadership and management roles, which means I understand the pressures that high-functioning men are actually navigating: performance expectations, professional identity, the difficulty of asking for help, and the gap between how things look from the outside and how they feel on the inside.
That background is a big part of why I work primarily with men. I know what it's like to push through, to handle things, to be the one other people rely on. And I know how much it costs when anxiety is running in the background of all of it.
I specialize in anxiety therapy for men, men's issues, and trauma, with particular experience in how these intersect for men who are high-functioning but quietly struggling. My approach is active, direct, and focused on concrete change. We're not going in circles; we're working toward something specific.
I'm a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT 86596). I'm Level 3 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an effective approach for anxiety and trauma that helps you understand the internal patterns that keep you stuck and work with them directly rather than just managing symptoms. I'm also a Certified EMDR Therapist. EMDR is particularly effective for anxiety rooted in past experiences or trauma. Learn more about how I work.

When not working I’m reading, cooking and exploring. Meditation, the gym, and art museums are part of my mental health toolkit.
